Went to Apple Hill with the kids today (my daughter had the day off from school) and we found ourselves at a new ranch, complete with a waterfall and bridge. It was very pretty and I had a great time taking photos while the kids ran around, enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.

Took my little boy to a "new playground" today. Couldn't resist taking some shots of him on his favorite apparatus.

Took this at the park today. There are a few peacocks roaming around but one in particular seems to like having his photo taken. In this one, he seems to be puzzled about something...Either that, or he likes to wear his "hat" crooked.

Just a Fancy Chicken

I'm joking, of course. It struck me, however, the similarities between the regal peacock and the everyday chicken. They coexist at a park nearby and today, I was able to take pictures of the former. Although both are very colorful, the peacock definitely has more of a presence. WOW, look at that color!

Potty Treats

If you are a mother who has ever potty trained a child, then you probably get it. Mine is 99% done. We are still "training his body to wake up in the middle of the night" so that he doesn't wet his bed. [sigh] So I guess we are still supporting the Pull-Up industry. GAH - so close!!!

Visited Apple Hill with my son today. I thought it was new farm. When we arrived, I had the sense of deja vu - I could swear that I took my daughter to the same ranch when she was her brother's age. I was right - the ranch just changed names. Weird how things happen that way...
